The Krembil Research Institute holds three seminar series:

Krembil Seminar Series

The Krembil Research Institute (Krembil) Seminar Series is designed to raise awareness of scientific research conducted both inside and outside of Krembil. The series is generally held on the first, second and third Friday of each month in the Main Auditorium (WW2-401) of the Toronto Western Hospital.

Each month, the Seminar Series will host:

  • 1 External Visiting Speaker
  • 1 Internal Krembil Researcher
  • 1 Internal Krembil Post-doctoral Fellow or Senior Graduate Student

For more information on the Krembil Seminar Series, please click here or contact Julie Wan at (416) 603-5045.

Splash Talks

Splash Talks is a series of informal community meetings at the Krembil Research Institute. It focuses on the presentation of scientific challenges and novel methods/resources, and will have a unique format, emphasizing the open discussion following the short introductory talk. Splash Talks will create a platform to encourage a rapid knowledge transfer between researchers from diverse fields and across levels of career development.

For more information on Splash Talks, please contact Dr. Igor Jurisica.
