A joint SickKids-UHN facility providing academic and corporate clients with state-of-the-art analytical flow cytometers and high-speed cell sorting, as well as training, education and consultation services. Located in the Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning (PGCRL) and the Princess Margaret Cancer Research Tower (PMCRT).

Using the Facility
General policies
- Open for registration to researchers at UHN, SickKids, the University of Toronto, and all external academic and non-academic investigators
- Please see website for specific instrument locations
- First-come, first-serve priority system, with booking required
Training
- To use any of the analytical cytometers or automated magnetic cell separators, users must receive training from FCF staff
Sample Preparation
- Cell labelling must be performed in the investigator’s own laboratory before processing
- Users must agree to follow established SOPs and FCF policies and procedures
