Dr. Yousef's research laboratory is focusing on cancer biomarkers in renal cell carcinoma and prostate cancer, using an integrated genomic, quantitative proteomic, transcriptomic, and miRNA appraoch.
His laboratory is internationally recognized in miRNA research. In addition, he is extensively involved in the Kallikrein family of tumour markers and their roles as cancer biomarkers.
