The Office of Research Trainees (ORT) is pleased to announce the awardees of the November 2019 ORT Travel Award Competition who will be attending conferences between January and April 2020 including the 7th International Conference on Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation (NIBS), American Association for Cancer Research (AACR): Advances in Liquid Biopsies, 40th Annual International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation Meeting (ISHLT), and Osteoarthritis Research Society International (OARSI) World Congress 2020.

The ORT hosts travel award competitions for University Health Network research trainees on a triannual basis. These awards support graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to attend and disseminate their research at national and international conferences and to share with colleagues what they have learned upon their return. Attending and presenting at conferences are an integral part of the research trainee experience, enabling trainees to hone their presentation skills and receive feedback on their research from the wider scientific community.
