Dr. Noel’s research focuses on improving cancer care delivery through big data and digital health innovations. His work explores advanced analytics and artificial intelligence, often in collaboration with technology partners, to support clinical decision-making, outcomes research, and scalable, patient-centered models of care.
Christopher W. Noel, MD PhD FRCSC is a Head & Neck Surgical Oncologist and Microvascular Surgeon at University Health Network and Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto. He holds a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Care Research and is an Adjunct Scientist at ICES. His clinical practice focuses on complex head and neck oncologic surgery and reconstruction, with an emphasis on outcomes, survivorship, and technology-enabled care delivery.
