The keyword I use for my research is “high tech-high touch”—how can we achieve cancer cures while minimizing toxicity and long-term functional issues for patients? This includes using less toxic, higher-precision treatment in the first place, but also maintaining and regaining function after treatment.

Research Interests:
• Cancer survivorship
• Quality of life in patients with enteral feeding tubes
• Quality of life issues for patients with head and neck cancers: hyperfractionated/accelerated radiation therapy and chemoradiation therapy
• Rehabilitation for head and neck cancer patients
