Kevin Rodrigues is a Bioethicist at the University Health Network, covering ethics services at Toronto General Hospital and has been a practicing Bioethicist for over 10 years. Prior to becoming a Bioethicist Kevin worked in Spiritual Care at St. Michael’s Hospital.  Kevin has been a part of the UHN Bioethics team since September 2016.  Kevin holds a Master’s in Theological Studies and completed an Ethics Fellowship through the Joint Centre for Bioethics and the Centre for Clinical Ethics.  Kevin is an Adjunct Lecturer with the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, and co-lectures Research Ethics, for the MHSc in Bioethics program.

My research focuses on standardizing the Bioethics Fellowship curriculum and creating Bioethics competencies. I have also been co-developing a course on Bioethics and Racial Justice, where we look at equity issues that are impacting and have historically impacted equity-deserving communities. Lastly, my equity focus includes work with people experiencing homelessness and their transitions through the health system.
