Full Board Meeting Review
To ensure high quality in ethical review at UHN, and given the increasing volume of submissions, the UHN REB may need to prioritize protocols received for review.
Generally applications submitted for review by the full board will be taken to the board on a first come first served basis. The decision of whether a study qualifies for full board review rests with the REB Chair.
The number of applications for review may be further limited by the number and expertise of the reviewers available for the REB meeting. Priority will also be given to submissions which can be demonstrated to have safety implications or time urgency.
Meeting Dates and Deadlines
Use the link below to access the meeting dates and submission deadlines for Boards A, B, C and the Human Tissue Committee.
The deadlines for submitting studies to the REB or the Human Tissue Committee are approximately 10 business days prior to meeting dates.
Submissions must be received in the REB office no later than 12:00pm on the deadline date.
Please note that the first complete submissions received before the applicable deadlines are given priority for review at the next full board meeting.
