Career Panel Broadens Horizons

On July 28, 2016, ORT and the University of Toronto Transplant Institute Summer Program hosted a career event for trainees, enabling them to gain valuable insight from the career paths of a variety of  speakers from industry, government and academia. Speakers came from the Weston Brain Institute, Amgen Canada Inc., Nanovista Inc., DRI Capital, Ryerson University, University of Toronto and UHN. The event included a panel session where trainees could ask questions and get feedback from the speakers. The event also included a roundtable session, where attendees could participate in a more focused group discussion with individual speakers. These discussions provided trainees with a better understanding of the variety of career paths and opportunities available to them upon graduation.
