Dr. Pamela Catton (1953-2014)

On December 23rd, 2014, Dr. Pamela Catton passed away after a courageous struggle with cancer. She was a Radiation Oncologist at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and a Professor at the University of Toronto. Dr. Catton was a devoted researcher, teacher, mentor and internationally acclaimed educator. Her legacy includes the students and junior colleagues who she taught, mentored and inspired, as well as the successful ELLICSR: Health, Wellness, and Cancer Survivorship Centre, which she founded.

According to Dr. Catton’s obituary, tribute donations may be directed to The Canadian Radiation Oncology Foundation, established partly to encourage young physicians to pursue a career in Radiation Oncology. Donations can also be directed to the Toronto Humane Society.
