After training in Internal Medicine and Clinical Oncology in England and obtaining MRCP and FRCR, I came for 1 year to Princess Margaret Hospital as a Clinical Fellow in 1991 and continued training in Radiation Oncology obtaining FRCPSC in 1993. I have developed interests and carried out clinical research and publications on the role of radiation in Gastrointestinal as well as Endocrine malignancy and on the staging of patients with cancer.
To evaluate the clinical feature and prognostic factors of thyroid malignancy and ascertain the role of radioactive iodine and external beam radiotherapy in the management of thyroid malignancy.

To determine the various roles of radiation in the definitive and adjuvant treatment of gastrointestinal malignancy.

Evaluation of staging systems and prognostic factors in cancer and audit of staging procedures.
