Developing and Implementing Evaluative Methods for Surgical Procedures
My research activities are focused around the theme of developing and implementing evaluative methods for surgical procedures. My clinical interests are minimally invasive surgery, surgical oncology and the use of new surgical technologies. My research focuses on measuring and improving the quality of surgical procedures, particularly in the area of surgical processes of care. Much of my research involves analysis of administrative health data, which is carried out in collaboration with the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences (ICES).
