Anand Ghanekar, PhD, MD, FRCSC

My research program investigates the molecular and cellular mechanisms of liver cancer, and also investigates whether genomic signatures of liver cancer found in the blood can help manage patients with liver cancer. We also study the way that bile duct cells develop and use cholangiocytes generated from stem cells to study the mechanisms of bile duct disorders.
