Our Institute focuses on converting fundamental knowledge about cells and their actions into sight-saving treatments. Our program is building capacity in vision research by training the next generation of researchers in collaboration with the Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences. Vision researchers interact with other research leaders including those working on age-related neurodegeneration, autoimmunity, neuroimmunology and arthritis.
