https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5771-5750Dr. Ishrat Husain [MBBS, MD(Res.), FRCPsych (UK), FRCP(C)] is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto, where he also holds the Cameron Wilson Chair in Depression Studies. He serves as the Department Head and Program Medical Director of the Centre for Mental Health, University Health Network. Dr. Husain attended medical school at the St. George’s University of London, completed his psychiatry training in the world-renowned South London and Maudsley training scheme, and his doctoral research at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neuroscience, King’s College London.
