Dr. Abeer Alomari is an Assistant Professor and full time Clinical Investigator in the Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto with a cross-appointment position in the Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine. She is a Staff Pain Physician at the University Health Network. Dr. Alomari provides chronic pain services across Sinai Health, UHN, and Women’s College Hospital, with a clinical focus on musculoskeletal and pelvic pain, as well as the use of advanced image-guided interventions.

My research focuses on improving the understanding and treatment of chronic pain, particularly pain related to musculoskeletal conditions and nerve disorders. I am interested in evaluating new treatments such as regenerative therapies, neuromodulation techniques, and minimally invasive image-guided procedures. My work also explores how multidisciplinary care can improve outcomes for people living with chronic pain.
