In addition, Dr. Li is particularly interested in guideline development and implementation, research methods, community and patient engagement, and arts-integrated healthcare education. At the Centre, Dr. Li develops patient-centered interventions and programs that address the social determinants of artists’ health, uses research to facilitate healthcare access in the artist community, and educates healthcare professionals and policymakers about the unique health needs of artists.

My research program focuses on translating knowledge (e.g., findings from research) into practice, specifically for clinical and community settings that provide healthcare and health education to artists. These outputs can be in the forms of developing guidelines for healthcare professionals and patient-versions of guidelines, community and patient engagement, arts-integrated healthcare education (through workshops and webinars), and advocating for artists' health.
