PM Cancer Centre Senior Scientist Dr. Ming-Sound Tsao was named the recipient of the 2015 Mary Matthews Pathology Award from the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC).
The peer-reviewed award is presented bi-annually to an IASLC scientist for outstanding lifetime achievements within the field of translational and pathology research of thoracic cancers. Dr. Tsao was honoured for his contributions to advancing translational research in lung cancer, his commitment to research excellence and leadership within laboratory medicine.
Dr. Tsao will be presented with the award at the 16th World Conference on Lung Cancer, to be held in Denver, Colorado in September 2015.
