Lung transplantation is a life-saving procedure for patients with end-stage lung diseases. The goal of my research is to investigate the clinical predictors, biomarkers, and mechanisms of chronic rejection after lung transplantation. I use patient data, patient-derived samples, and animal models to discover new diagnostic and therapeutic strategies to improve outcomes for lung transplant recipients.
