Meredith Giuliani, MBBS, MEd, PhD, FRCPC

My research focuses on the intersection of health professions education and the cancer system. Specifically, how curricula are influenced by global trends in addition to historical and political factors. My work uses critical approaches to investigate how current trends in health professions education are aligned with the needs of health systems and patients globally. It explores the influence of neocolonialism on education and implications for health human resources. I am also actively engaged in developing interventions to improve the patient and caregiver experience within cancer care. This includes the development of a comprehensive digital educational support system for cancer caregivers.
