Harald Keller, PhD, MCCPM

As a practicing medical physicist, I have hands-on experience with medical imaging systems as well as research experience in quantitative image analysis. My research focuses on improving the quality of the information that can be extracted from such images. This enables, for example, to extract more relevant data for clinical medical imaging trials. I have recently started a research collaboration to acquire and analyze high-resolution images of tissue samples of pancreatic cancer. Such images effectively enable quantitative virtual histology to be performed in three dimensions.

I am also interested in quality assurance of radiotherapy equipment to improve the quality and precision of cancer treatment using radiation.
