Evidence-Based Practice

Dr. Bombardier's research interests include evidence-based practice, pharmacoeconomics, soft-tissue disorders, methodology to improve intervention studies (randomized controlled trials), literature synthesis (systematic reviews/meta-analyses), the use of health outcome measures in patients with musculoskeletal disorders, the prevention and management of musculoskeletal disease in the workplace and continuing medical education.

Her areas of methodological expertise include knowledge transfer, clinical epidemiology, design/analysis of clinical trials, clinical measurement, outcomes assessment, quality of life measures, cost effectiveness and economic evaluation.

Dr. Bombardier has published more than 170 articles in scholarly journals, and has an established record of working with complex organizations in order to create innovative multidisciplinary programs.
