Implementation of the ORCID ID at UHN.
Posted On: March 16, 2017
ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is a not-for-profit organization that provides a persistent digital identifier to link an individual’s name with their research contributions, through name and affiliation changes. ORCID enhances your online presence and discoverability regardless of your current location, and will help make it clear which works are yours when another researcher has a similar name. Registering for an ORCID ID is free.

UHN is asking all researchers and trainees to:
  1. Register for an ORCID ID
  2. Link your works to your ID and make sure you indicate your UHN affiliation
  3. Send your ORCID ID to rppa@uhnresearch.ca
