Research Focus

To investigate the impact of psychosocial and behavioural factors and of cancer-related symptoms on health outcomes associated with cancer and its treatment.

Aims
  • Develop and implement new and improved strategies to prevent and treat physical and psychosocial distress, delirium and cognitive
    impairment in cancer patients
  • Improve clinician-patient communication informing ethical and resource-related decisions in cancer treatment
  • Enhance health-promoting behaviour and improving quality of life of cancer patients and their families at all stages of disease
