Description:
The Dilutions_ macro opens a
dialog requesting the user to enter the name of the solution; stock
concentration (specify units in drop down menu); desired final concentration
(specify units in drop down menu); volume required of final solution
(specify units in drop down menu) and stock volume (specify units in drop
down menu).
Leave the parameter you wish to calculate as zero (select
desired units from drop down menu).
In this case (right) we're calculating the volume of 20 mM stock required
to make 25 mls of 2 µM final solution
Click OK.
Results are presented in a dialog. The calculated parameter marked with
asterisks. The answer is also written to the Log window as a row or column
if the "Results as rows" option is unchecked in the first dialog.
