Image Processing and
Analysis
The main software used for processing and analysis is the
WCIF ImageJ custom installation (Click
here). Images can be processed with ImageJ before
being imported in to CorelDRAW for preparation of
publication-quality figures. Data from ImageJ can be exported directly
to Excel for further analysis.
For widefield deconvolution we have Zeiss'
Axiovision
4.2 which will perform deconvolution using a theoretical
PSF. We also have AutoDeblur GOLD which will
perform Blind deconvolution on widefield or confocal data.
For 3D reconstruction
and analysis we use ImageJ running VolumeJ and
also Bitplane's Imaris Suite.
A copy of Zeiss
LSM510 3.2 is installed for offline analysis of LSM
Lambda-stacks.

Presentation
For preparation of figures we have CorelDRAW software.
This allows generation of figures containing both vector (e.g.
line-graphs) and bitmap image types.
For
animated presentations we have Macromedia's FLASH MX 2004.
These animations can be embedded in to PowerPoint
presentations or published online.
