In November of 2000, the UHN Established the Centre for Clinical Genomics, a centre established around three core competencies, microarrays, structural proteomics and gene profiling (SNP analysis). These three groups continue to operate as a cohesive core offering a broad spectrum of solutions to researchers in Toronto, Canada and around the World - please take some time to visit our partners' websites.

 

 

 The Microarray Centre at the University Health Network is a leader in Canadian microarray technology. We are dedicated to providing high quality microarrays, technical support and service to Canadian researchers. Access to high quality microarrays will allow our Canadian researchers to be on the cutting edge of genetic research.

 

 

 

 

The Gene Profiling Group (aka Analytical Genetics Technology Centre) operates under cGLP guidelines to meet the rigorous standards necessary for DNA analysis and generating quality genotyping data. The facility is equipped with a number of platforms for high throughput SNP identification and genotyping including Affymetrix, Sequenom, ABI PRISMŽ, Varian/Helix and Transgenomic systems.
